| Working Group on LHC Impedance |

The working group will systematically keep track of all hardware equipment
seen by the beam, evaluate its impact on the LHC impedance budget and eventually give
recommendations for installation in the machine, based on considerations of beam stability
and parasitic losses.
Specific items, such as beam screen, kickers, position monitors, RF equipment and
experimental chambers, shall be discussed in conjunction with people having
the technical responsibility for the design of such hardware equipment.
The working group will identify
the need for impedance calculations and/or recommend the development of prototypes
for impedance measurements.
